Information

The high medieval complex extended over an area of about 88 meters long and 37 meters wide and included a pentagonal keep and a square tower in the northwest corner.

In the northeastern part of the ruin there is an event room (17 m x 7 m) with a terrace connected to the outside and a sanitary area. The function room can accommodate about 100 people and, like the ruin, can be rented for celebrations such as birthdays, weddings, graduation parties, etc.
The keep of the ruin has been converted into a lookout tower. From it the visitor has a beautiful view over the Kampsee Dobra.
The ruin is freely accessible all year round. The door to the keep is open, please pay the entrance fee of € 1.50 for adults and children € 1, - in the donation box at the stairs to the keep or transfer to the association account.
The association for the preservation of the ruins of Dobra has set itself the goal of preserving the foundation walls and partially rebuild, furthermore, div. events are organized every year by the association. With your donation you help us to pursue this goal. Thank you very much!
